On your Nook HD/HD+ go to settings (the gear in the upper right corner of home screen) and choose "All Settings", then choose "Account Settings" and press on "Adobe Digital Editions" and "Add User". To sideload/read DRM-protected content on Nook HD/HD+ with Reader and/or OverDrive:ġ. The ADE authorization is already built into the Nook HD/HD+ - all you have to do is add your user account to your Nook HD/HD+. Now, I can't find a way to license it to my Saraiva account in order to read the e-book in the device. Unfortunately, since I have logged in with my Adobe ID, the acsm file as well as the epub were automatically licensed to it as you can see in the image below: So, I inserted my Adobe ID and password and then dropped the acsm file into the ADE. I have bought an e-book from a Brazilian vendor (Saraiva) and downloaded the acsm file from its online page.Īfter that, I installed Adobe Digital Essentials (Windows 10) and opened the acms file in order to convert to an epub format so I could read it on the Saraiva device (it is called Lev and has ADE support - SaraivaReader ).īut, as soon as I started ADE, it asked me to login to my adobe account. Any suggestions are appreciated as I feel I have tried everything, save a Kobo reset, or trashing the Kobo altogether. I have checked out a few threads regarding similar issues, but none with my particular error message. I have not done a factory reset on my Kobo as I don't want to lose all my purchased eBooks. I have contacted Kobo as well and they say it's an ADE issue and will not discuss it further. ADE seems to be working as advertised, but my Kobo is not cooperating. I can read my books on my MacBook using ADE, and I can even read them using ADE when I click on my Kobo icon in ADE sidebar and open the book. I have contacted Adobe and they checked my Adobe account and authorizations and was told that I still have unused activations and my authorizations appear to be in order. I have uninstalled my version of ADE and downloaded and installed the latest version. ![]() Deauthorizing and reauthorizing my Kobo worked a couple of times, but not any longer. I have tried deauthorizing the reader and then reauthorizing it before reimporting it to my Kobo. ![]() I have tried reimporting the book, and even returning the book and then reborrowing it before reimporting it to my Kobo. Because you previously deauthorized your eReader, you need to reimport the book using ADE". I have a Kobo Glo and I am now getting the following error message "Your eReader is not authorized to open this book.
